


It then occurred to me that Diptrace may not like the fact that my Diptrace folder, with all the sub folders like My Libraries, Projects, etc. I then tried double clicking on the file name from File Explorer (the Diptrace icons were there showing the file type was recognized and registered) but Diptrace crashed as it tried to open. I could run up Diptrace from the launcher thingie but whenever I tried to open previous files (which were all listed), it opened the editor but the page was blank - there were no libraries in the folder and no schematic in the frame. I upgraded my Windows 7 Pro 64 bit OS to the free Windows 10 upgrade and when it was done, all my previous programs including Diptrace were still there.
